KEYED MX5 Crank Damper
This crank damper is for use on Duratec/ MZR engines being used in 2006-2015 Mazda MX5 cars, or applications that use the Mazda 36-2-2-2 trigger pattern with aftermarket ECU's. We purchase Mazda crank dampers and broach a 5mm keyway to work on any cranks that are machined with the keyway groove straight up at TDC. The damper is keyed 180deg off from the alignment hole in the bottom spoke.
*** This damper will work with any of our keyed Duratec or Ecoboost cranks. We use a 5mm crank key in every Duratec/MZR engine we build! With a keyed crank there is no need for diamond washers on the crank gear anymore.***
