After almost 15 years since our previous batch of 9 inch deck height Heavy Duty blocks we have decided to explore producing them again for early (Q1) 2027 delivery!
We will be accepting pre-orders through the end of September. If we receive a minimum of 20 pre-orders we will begin production of a new batch of blocks. If we don't receive 20 pre-orders by the end of September, we will refund* anyone that has placed a pre-order. To place a pre-order you will be required to place a deposit of $1,250 before the end of September. A second payment of $1,250 will be due on December 30, 2026. The final balance of $1,250 plus any credit card or PayPal processing fees incurred during all 3 payments will be due upon completion and prior to shipping of the block. Shipping charges will be calculated at the time of completion. The $1,250 price on our website is for the pre-order only. Total price including the pre-order deposit is $3,750 plus tax and any processing fees. If you don't want to pay processing fees, you can wire payment or mail us a check. -General dimensions based on the 1983-1988 Ford "Lima" 2300 SOHC Turbo blocks
-Deck height increased to 9.000 inches**
-Thick-wall siamesed cylinders allow for up-to 4.000" bore on n/a applications, and up-to 3.858" bore on turbo applications***
- Billet 4340 main caps and ARP hardware on all 5 journals
-1 piece rear main seal
-Extra thick deck to increase strength for excellent headgasket retention on high powered applications
- Stroker clearance cast in for large strokes (up-to 4.000" n/a and 3.900" turbo)
-Dual 1.625" Roller intermediate shaft bearings
- Billet Intermediate Shaft with 1.625" journals included with purchase of block!
-Dual 4-cylinder bellhousing patterns (Ford 2300 "Lima" and 2.0L "EAO" Pinto)
-Machined for mechanical fuel pump
-OEM turbo oil drain location tapped for 1/2"npt fitting
-Includes install kit with 2 head dowels, 2 bellhousing dowels, brass freezeplugs and steel oil galley plugs
-Blocks come semi-finished with mains undersized, deck left tall, and bores left undersize for final dimensional machining to be completed by qualified machineshop.
- Optional deck surfacing, cylinder honing, and main align-hone are available for additional charges
