This kit is for Coyote blocks that have been machined for extra long 12mm head studs. These studs are longer and larger diameter to reach from the extra deep threads we machine down into the main webs greatly increasing the strength of both the block and the head gasket clamp load. The blocks with threads that end at the bottom of the water jacket have been known to crack at elevated cylinder pressures typically seen in high compression and boosted engines.
