This bellhousing adapter fits both Ecoboost AND Duratec 2L/2.3L/2.5L engines. It's designed to adapt the Small Block Ford bellhousing onto the 4-cylinder engines being swapped into RWD cars and trucks. The adapter is made from 3/4" thick 6061 aluminum and features ARP studs for the transmission and Grade 12.9 bolts to hold the adapter to the block.
Also included in this kit is a crankshaft adapter that is designed to fit a neutral balance SBF flywheel or flexplate onto the 4-cylinder Ecoboost and Duratec engines. This allows you to use common 10" or 10.5" clutches made for the V-8 engines so that you won't need a heavy pedal to hold the power of a boosted 4-cylinder.
