This hub-centric billet crank adapter bolts to your Ecoboost or Duratec crankshaft and allows you to use any neutral balance small block Ford flywheel or flexplate. We've designed this adapter to locate the flywheel/ flexplate in the proper spacing for use with our Ecoboost/ Duratec to SBF Bellhousing Adapter. To use a standard SBF starter you will have to machine clearance into the engine block, or you can go with our IMI Hi-Torque mini-starter that bolts right up with no grinding on most applications!
This adapter comes with the bolts to attach it to your crankshaft
The 7/16"-20 flywheel/ flexplate bolts are not included because the correct length will depend on which flywheel/ flexplate you use. Just order the ARP SBF flywheel/ flexplate bolts that match your flywheel/ flexplate.
You can install a SBF pilot bearing into this adapter just like the V8 crank, or if you have an automatic your converter will nest into this crank adapter just like a 5.0L crank!
