Duratec & MZR Crank Timing TDC Tool

The GOLD standard in crank TDC tools!

This crank TDC tool fits 4-cylinder Duratec* (2.0L, 2.3L, and 2.5L), 4-cylinder Ecoboost (2.0L & 2.3L) and Mazda MZR (2.0L, 2.3L, and 2.5L) engines.  For direct injected 2.0L Ti-VCT (normally aspirated) 2012+ Ford Focus engines a different crank TDC tool would be used.  Our crank TDC tools are precision machined on our CNC lathe from premium US sourced Stressproof steel to exacting tolerances (+/- .001").  Some tools on the market are machined with looser tolerances  which ends up allowing for slight variances in cam and ignition timing and thus the potential for power loss.  The gold zinc plating is durable and long lasting unlike the black oxide coating used by some of the Chinese tool suppliers which can rust.  One last key feature that sets our cam alignment tool apart from the rest is the built in threads to hold your Crank Timing TDC tool so it doesn't get lost in your toolbox! 

This tool works in conjunction with our Cam Alignment Tool .

*** Crank TDC tool should not be left in the block while the final torque is made on the crank pulley bolt.  This tool is for aligning the crank, NOT for holding it from rotating while tightening the crank pulley bolt! ***
