Our Dual groove V-belt crank pulleys feature 360 degree laser marking, which makes setting ignition timing really easy using supplied timing pointer.
Releases horsepower by under driving the water pump and alternator. When paired with our underdrive lite-weight 7" water pump pulley, it reduces the water pump speed to 57% of the crank speed allowing the water / coolant to absorb more temperature from the engine. This maintains a 40-45% underdrive ratio for high RPM engines that need the water to pass through the block and head at a slower rate to absorb more temperature.
V-belt part number suggestions:
Use Continental V-belt #15301 when using this 4" crank pulley with our 7" water pump pulley.
With a stock water pump pulley and the 4" crank pulley, you'll want to use Continental # 15276. If you are running an alternator and/ or power steering, you'll have to measure your belt path and find a belt at your local parts store.
